Had spooktacular time telling scary stories at Shadows on the Teche in New Iberia. Prepping for 615am flight to Chicago.

Rode in Halloween parade and told spooky stories at the West Baton Rouge Parish Library in Port Allen. Had a terror-ific time! :)

Feeling human again after food poisoning episode. On way to ride in Halloween parade & tell spooky stories.

Oh no! Food poisoning has me down & out. Think it was chicken fr restaurant tonite. Hit me while in movie theater w daughter watching Fame.

Tmrw, I get to ride in a convertible as the guest of honor at a Halloween parade in Port Allen, LA. How cool is that?!!

Channeling my feline diva... Just bought gorgeous leopard boots. Rargh!

A wrong click wiped out 1100 contacts from my address book! Thank goodness for backup. All restored. Whew!

Answered tons of emails and fan mail. Working my way through the inbox. Want to get back to less than 25 emails. 69 right now...

Shirked work today & now paying for it. Gotta stay up late... BUT I got some massive holiday shopping done! :)

Saw Paranormal Activity, touted as the "scariest movie of the year." Save ur $$ and watch it on DVD.

NO Saints came marching in! Now 5-0. Stomped on Giants 48-27. Tied a pretty ribbon round game when Saints sacked Giants QB on last play.

Battling laryngitis. Seeing doc tmrw. Saints playing Giants in dome & I couldn't go! But I can shout here... "GO SAINTS!"

Louisiana Book Fest was great. Full tent @ performance & nonstop book signing after. Thx to Alysha, Aly & all fans who came! U rock!

A man rear-ended me on the 405 in L.A. First he hit me then he hit on me, asking me to dinner! BTW, I'm ok.

Great visit in Cali. Spent time w BFF Fe & her fam, 3 school visits, dedicated book to fave teacher & spent time w her. Now to headed to LAX

While in Cali, my best friend Fe, whom I am visiting, had a family death. Her MIL passed away tonite. My heart aches for the family.

What a day! Akers welcomed in style. Did 4 shows, classrm visits & book dedication ceremony & dinner. :)

Connecting in San Antonio. Nice airport with tons of laptop stations, oodles of outlets, and free WiFi. Makes waiting more... fun. LOL
