Thru a domino effect of Murphy's law, arrived @ hotel @ 1am. Too late to enjoy king suite & gorgeous pool (which my rm overlooks). Pout!

Reeling fr the news that a dear friend of mine has bladder cancer. I luv u, Debby. U are in my prayers.

Leaving 4 Webster Parish (Minden, LA) today. 5.5 hr drive. Hit north, west & south LA - all this wk. Lots driving! Niece Ashlynn joining us.

Eliana's Diva Rock Star party rocked w 100% turnout. Hair, makeup, nails, photo shoot & karaoke. Each diva left w their own custom CD cover.

Eliana loved her 1st circus! The greatest show on earth is so glitzy now. Jumbo trons, huge tech crew & spectacular acts.

Decorations & cake done, mix CDs made, goody bags stuffed, table set, karaoke up & bkdrop assembled 4 Eliana's rock star party. Now to Circus!

Taking Eliana to Ringling Bros Circus 4 bday present. Here's 2 elephants, clowns, trapeze artists, cycle guys in metal cages & cotton candy.

Up til 5am decorating 4 Eliana's Diva Rock Star bday party - hot pink boas, pink & blk zebra, purple & blk leopard & bkdrop 4 photo shoot.

Took my cuz, Heidi, to airport this morn. Leaving to perform in Iberville Parish, LA, one of my fave library systems!

Mom cooked jambalaya, red beans, crawfish & corn bisque, blk chick pasta, shrimp pasta. I made bananas foster ovr creole crm cheese ice crm.

Took Eliana to Children's Museum & then cuz on tour of St. Charles Ave w stop at Creole Creamery on Prytania St. Simply divine!

Toured Fr. Quarter in mule-drawn carriage, strolled moonwalk & Jackson Square. Ended eve w beignets @ Cafe Du Monde. Fun!

Taking my cuz on "Katrina" tour, uptown & Fr Qtr tonite. Bourbon St, here we come!

Had great show in Breaux Bridge. Ate fab lunch @ Angelle's Burgers. On way to St. Mary Parish.

After today's show, went to Wal-Mart (next to hotel) & got all new tires & windshield wipers. Hopefully, no more calls to AAA!

Finally rec'd help after 3 hrs on riadside! Good I had compressor to inflate spare cuz AAA guy did not! Now safe in hotel. Thx for ur concern!

Broken down w flat tire on I-10W just before Baton Rouge w 2 little girls, waiting for AAA. Not fun.
